Windsurfing.

With over 280 days of wind over 4 Beaufort a year, an amazing range of conditions, suitable for beginners to advanced windsurfers, and warm water all year round Dahab is undoubtably the best place to windsurf in Egypt.

Kitesurfing.

There are two great kite areas – a shallow flat water lagoon and kitesurf area 2 downwind of the windsurf lagoon which has constant winds and lots of space for everyone.

Diving.

Dahab is South Sinai's most treasured dive location. There are many great dive sites from the famous Blue Hole and Canyon, to coral and eel gardens. Trips also available by camel or boat to remote dive sites in the National park, for an amazing untouched experience. Most of the diving is shore based making access to the reef easy.

Lagoon area - 3 minutes walk from the apartment
- The Swiss Inn - has a good lunch menu (pasta, pizza, salads, burgers). Lovely buffet breakfast also.

Masbat (local town). Below are our favourites.
- Ralph’s German Bakery - Fabulous croissants, danish pasties, nut rolls, poppy seed rolls, cheesy bread. Baguettes and whole/multigrain breads.

Italian
- El Dorado - Fantastic Pizza, best steak in town.
- Dai Pescatori - Great pasta and fish.

Indian
- Namaste – Superb Indian food. They also do home delivery.

Russian and international
- Red Cat – Fabulous soup, beef strogonoff, pirogi, borscht, pies, pizza and calzone. Healthy and tasty salads.

Vegan/ Healthy
- Vegan Lab - Pancakes, waffles, burgers and salads. Perfect lunches and breakfasts for non - vegans also.

Also available Mexican, Chinese, Japenese and of course Egyptian restaurants serving kofta, roast chicken and koshary.
